Bring back the days
before the quick pill daze.
When life was crueler and kinder
in the simplest of ways
You didn't have to worry so much
a smile was the first resort
Now it's a decisive threat
for swindle or retort.
The world is muddied up hazy,
and it by one's self can't change it
As long as people are weak
there's no hope of what I speak
I don't take pills to cure my ills
except the most common type
For fever and pain
I don't care what you say if it's all hype
The world stuffed up
because we all choose this way,
Do Easy crap and prefer not to think
and to stay that way
Not me, I'm up for a nice change.
Love and peace are Not just
hippy antics. Give them more respect!
those of you who toss it in
like a used wrapper
Near enough has never been
good enough
So get off your asses
and do something
to make a change in it
and while you're doing that
chances are love and peace
will pay you a fine visit!
Pity you don't know their real value...
If you did, you'd try.
Go on swallow.
