The Knowing

I met an old soul today,
His glow warm and bright.

He looked into me
I recognized him
He knew.

Where have you been
My stoic light?
For I have needed you
Many times.

He smiled and in that knowing
I knew the answer.
He was right.

The kindred spirit held my gaze
I saw into his eyes and felt it.
I knew.

Acknowledged
We turned
and without
saying goodbye
Walked the other way

Both of us knowing
He could no longer stay

I will see you again father
Of my dreams for we are
On the same journey.

Always in the knowing
when we least expect
The Light shall rain again
like the time before.
We knew.

I had to go

all the way back here to find a poem that I could comment on without being last in the crowd, never mind last in the the crowd I mean lost in the crowd. These wonderful words reminds me of something I wrote long ago. You are exquisite in your love. And the inked color of that tongue of yours, it is the color of love , a rose-hue like the bright aura above the mind.

Peace

Dylan
