Love is actually

PHILOSOPHICAL SS

All.

Not one but all,

No true hate was ever born

without love abandoned,

rejected, abused, or scorned

Love is every positive and negative

facet of emotion

Divine and literal

Its wealth disguised by its true name -

Agapi.

Without this blind fumbling fool

We are of no use, no consequence,

no matter.

Where there is no love,

there is no existence

Only inertia.

Your deepest hate

is your deepest love in reverse

these can never be separated;

except by degrees.

like a galactic elastic band;

as far as you go for one,

you will enviably be flung to the other.

That's how energy survives,

it changes form but never dies

and life is love in all its forms

And

You are its expression devine.

Love/Hate Dichotomy

.

Sometimes opposites repel. True love dies when battered and ignored, not given a format, unexpressed, not valued. Think sexually abused 9 year old in a family of sodomites. Distrust is a result of what lies off hate's shores: I was raised to survive in a white suppremist environment. There exists a wide range of emotional postures between love and hate as valid as those two emotional states. There are a few things I hate, child abuse among them. I detest evil, can not love a physical wife abuser. I hate drug trafficers.
.

I do not acknowlege hate unless it is dangerous;  personally, ignored hate's power dies. The programming is neutered; less love and more freedom results. Love is selectvely shared - a defense mechanism. African stolen mmigrants learned to love inside the community against a common enemy - slave holders. That has not changed.

.
Sorry, the descendents of the post plantation system receive their own brand of hatred
from the liberated Black commnity. That hate makes the so called dominant world a little more insecure - assuming universal love allows evil to exploit huge segments of populations. Not butterfly happy, but true.
.

Hate is not the result either. Intelligent analysis of motive-a lesson for women who choose a mate, can curtail the rise of hate and high divorce rates. Love is killed in exploitive relationships.  The male dominance model is attached to "Love" - great for world dominant civilizations, not for females of the species. We evolve, love is inside and shared if the climate is acceptable and adjudged safe.

.

Currently, young church goers are mass exodusing from the church and churches are closing down. It is hard to find a Baptist Church and the Pope recently ordered less money apportioned for usa Dioses. I never felt so much hate as when I attended events at my grandson's Catholic school church. I also did time in a catholic college.  Church IS for sinners. Race hatred TRUMPED love quite thoroughly. Wary of usery, love holds a key to open doors or to lock them. Why usa is tribally disunited. Love was abused.

Love destroys CRT. I dont

Love destroys CRT. I dont believe in superiority, I believe in cultural selection and survival through that vehicle. If I went to a nation of another race creed or colour would I be eqiped to survive in a color/cultural  supremacy? Yes. Because I am human, I connect, I survive and if i compromise i can thrive within any systemic boundary if i understand the rules clearly. therefore I am love and hate  within my choices, in All my earthly experiences. But I am not my grandfather who was hung from a tree, my grand mother stripped from all her riches and sold into slavery by her neighbouring conquering tribe. I am not a victim but a product of survival. When you think of any community in the world  that has come so far and yet now regressed so quickly it is hard to watch.  Each must account for their own Behaviour. I am a hard worker, I made all my opportunities from nothing. I hussled, I escaped my own programming of hatred and distrust, I cast off my ancestors vengeance. I live only to observe, interact and connect. I strive for love but I have a tormenting duality, the love of God (and creation) vs the love of self (and my creation). Division is so easy to achieve through jealousy and living through others experiences. To the supremacists  separatists (colour, race, creed, politics, religion or ideology) separate I will still love you. To the colour, race creed politics religion or ideology) blind I will love you, we cannot live in place that had given us a place and space to be individuals, bite it, disrespect it and reshape it into what it is not. It would be like me never ever acknowledging my mistakes that led me to this humbler, wiser kinder place that seeks to compromise and (sometimes sharply) rectify disharmony. Remorse and regret must not be forced nor the flames of history fanned, remembered yes, but it is time for the annointing of the oil of healing and uniting under one kinship, one hegemony of love and equality and many cultural expressions of this devine mystic happening of Agapi. If we are not one humanity what are we? Traitors? I hope we are all choosing love, and placing immense value on eachother no matter where we are in the world. Blessings ss

"Well, it's love, but not as we know it."

A brilliant exploration of

A brilliant exploration of duality that is conceptualized elegantly in the first word, also the first line: "All". Then you dove deep into an ultimate, majestic truth that is not easy to bring down to earth and articulate, but you pulled it off with stunning minimalism and beautiful clarity.

I particularly liked the striking imagery to illustrate Oneness and how everything is Source energy and love, no matter how we label it, no matter how we judge it "good or bad":

"Your deepest hate

 is your deepest love in reverse

these can never be separated;

except by degrees.

like a galactic elastic band;

as far as you go for one,

you will enviably be flung to the other."

This human voyage doesn't begin to make sense until we grasp this meta belief, this ultimate reality. Your exquisite poem guides us to that higher plane and touches us, like a messenger of light, like a personal resurrection, in your last line.

A sublime message, gracefully delivered.

Excellent!  I am probably

Excellent!  I am probably misreading one line, so would you tell me who the blind fumbling fool is?  The final stanza's allusions to both cosmology amd to the conservation of energy is a very powerful statement. and a most appropriate way to conclude the poem.  Bravo!  I would suggest that this one is one of the centerpieces of your total work.

I really appreciate that you

I really appreciate that you have really considered the elements in this poem to be worthy of a place in a crown I don't believe I own, other than that the good Lord bestowed, I thank you and value your critiques greatly! Hugss x

Your words---either in your

Your words---either in your magnificent poems, or comments, or replies---never fail to amaze me.  Your description of the crown is one of the most Christian responses I have ever read, and I will be doing a screen-shoot to add it to my screen saver slideshow.  It reminds me, and should remind all of us, of the attitude of being humble to which all poets should aspire.  I am very, very grateful---let me say again, VERY, VERY GRATEFUL---to you for writing this, and for writing it in your inimitable way.  My Sister in the Faith, you have once again ministered to me.

Thanks for the explication.

Thanks for the explication.  This poem has such a grandeur that, facing it, I felt like an awkward freshman during my first term, facing the grandeur of the school library.  I appreciate your kindness in answering my question.
