                                 THE GOLDEN YEARS

                   I have reached the golden years of life
                   My Social Security check came in the mail
                   Along with arthritis and all the things
                   I pretend aren't there … to no avail

                   Now I look for my senior citizen's discount
                   And all the good things out there for me
                   But my mind didn't come along for the ride
                   I'm still young at heart you see
