Between me and you.
I didn't have a clue!
I never knew we would so fastly fade.
I had no idea I was going to get played.
Between me and you.
We had nothing to prove.
A gentle word, a confection,
false love, boobytraped affection.
I seriously thought we made a connection.
I was wrong.
So wrong.
Between me and you.
I believe I was way too nice to you.
You walked all over me.
I was once blind, but now I can see,
This sham for what it was.
This camoflauged tradegy.
Between me and you.
The world used to be such a magical place.
You were once so sincere and loving.
But then your absence hieghtened my problem solving sences.
Between me and you,
I concluded that you were not serious.
About love or us.
I gave you my trust.
You gave me your word.
My bleeding heart began to rust.
The tears I cried made my vision blurred.
Because by you I was not being heard.
Between me and you.
I wanted to cuddle and hold you.
I wanted to show you the warmth,
I once had for you in my heart.
I wanted to, but you never got the clue.
Between me and you.
My heart aches now that I have again spoken with you.
I used to think I did something wrong.
Because no matter what, I couldn't get closer to you.
Between me and you.
Your absence , your non presence has made me strong.
I know now that I wasn't the one who was wrong.
Oh if only we could've been.
I thought we got along.
But then again I was the one who was wrong.
Its just another sad love song.
