Or an obsession.
I think a fire burns within,
One I cannot extinguish.
I feel as if I cannot be complete,
Without you in my possesion.
Though that isn't love, in love you must be free,
And such freedom is my only wish.

Love sucks. Take it from one who knows only too well lately.
Sounds like a person who has
Sounds like a person who has never experienced love, or is confused by what they learned about love. "You complete me" is a romantic line used to twist the picure and provoke a delusion that it is impossible to be in love and feel whole without the other person. It's a lie a lot of people believe because it sounds good and it sells... don't be fooled, but your poem expresses the lie beautifully ;-)

I think that might be mutual obsession, but then agin I'm not too experienced with love
The last line, I think shows
The last line, I think shows love. Allowing and wishing for the freedom of another... letting them be who they are even if that means they will not be yours to keep. As I love, I love to the fullest, every moment of sharing with another being. That's what fills my spirit and my heart. But still, it's nice to have that romantic kind of spark with someone once in a while.. that's not love though that's just attraction.
