The screen door creaks as the clock ticks another minute onto my restless thoughts, inside the mind of the woman with a heart in turmoil... People always talk about the broken heart, the pain it feels, but the worst part of it is the broken mind. Scientifically the way the anatomy functions is that the brain tells the heart to beat... So I ask when the heart is confused, broken, bruised, in pain, in love... Doesn't it then tell the brain what to think, what actions to take? Who rules?.... The heart or the mind...
