Beautiful little friend with a frown
Your sweetness dripping to the ground
Brought flowers from all around
Dreaming while you were bound
Crushed with life’s little fingers
You had no choice
Now nothing lingers
Black, took you to this place
Blue, brought life to your face
Red, flavored your lips with luscious glare
And little daisies filled your hair
Death cares for nothing much
Doesn’t look at or feel your touch
Caught you playing around that night
Now lie there still without a fight
I called your name in all that wakes
And did everything that it takes
Now I lay you down to sleep
I pray to god that you don’t weep
I cried all the night
And cried all the day
For something I need to say
Sleep peacefully my love, I cannot stay
I fell so deep and fell so far
Crumpled up on a little star
That burned my soul and let me go
In the vast space of unknown
