A walk across the stage

And thoughts pass by

I look out to the audience

My how time has gone by



So many faces, I’ve known for years

And some who I’ve just met, yet still I shed tears

Were not the same people that we once were

Were stronger, yet weaker

And the tides have indeed turned



Before we came we were so close

But in time the bonds we’ve shared

Have loosened in our haste of others

And our friendship was barred  



My hope is that one day you will see

How close we had come to be

And how a little time and smiles

Is always worth while

And it could have saved this defile



Yet people change

For good or bad

And we find out who we are

Yet still I find it hard to believe

Such love cant go that far



I wish of all the luck to you

All happiness and wishes grant

For the time we spent, and moments shared

My happiness was that



So I bid you all farewell

And set out for my life

I hope our paths do cross someday

I leave nothing in strife



Hold on to the people you love

Its all one may have

Friendships are meant to live

Not one should be of bad
