I can’t sleep well at night

Not having you by my side

Whom I used to hug so tight

‘Til the morning sun shines so bright



You keep me warm in the cold nights

You give me comfort when I feel so tired

You’d bring me back into life

With thy softness makes me feel so right



To you I used to hide my face

When these eyes are full of tears

To you I used to say my prayers

When this life is conquered with fears



You’ve heard me crying

When my heart is breaking

You’ve heard the murmurs of my soul

When my life comes to fall



Thanks Thee for having this friend

This pink pillow on my bed

For without this by my side

My life is incomplete in every night….
