Loss of Inspiration

Folder:
My Past

Another year gone by

Still no you

No Inspiration

Fighting

Winning

Gold Medals

Its juts not the same

My love for the sport

Gone with you

The life you brought to it

Taken from those who were loyal

Wanting from those who can't follow

Pain from those who believed

Agression, Digressed

Looked down upon by the new

No emotion in fighting

This is an excellent poem. You are very talented.
Competing is more emotionally demanding than it seems. It takes a lot out of anyone. Then to have someone you admired and trusted leave maybe, when you needed him the most.
That is tough.
I am sorry for your grieving. Anyone put to the test knows. Especially, to anyone who has grown up in the shadow of New York City.
Learning lessons are good but I also, feel teaching helps us learn more.
We live in an environment where cynics flourish – your former mentor instilled inspiration into you, you have what it takes.
You can never really lose that lesson, so learn to teach it to others.
If want to lead, someone will follow you.
Peace
Dylan
