I'm wishfully thinking of you,

And all that I've put you through.

You listen to me when I'm down,

Tolerate my rants when no one else is around.

You hold me tight when I'm scared,

And no matter what, you've always cared.

You're a guiding light in the dark,

And always give my hope a spark.

You lend your shoulder for me to cry,

And stay there, even if my eyes remain dry.

You've kind words when I need support,

And they're never, ever your last resort.

You're blunt when I'm being dumb,

But still keep me from becoming glum.

You're brotherly when I need advice,

And you always know what words will suffice.

So here is my shoulder for your wet eyes.

Here is my ear when things have gone awry.

Here is a hug and a kiss,

For every time that you're feeling adrift.

And if I ever must bid you "Adieu,"

Know that I'll always be wishfully thinking of you.
