Light Bloom and Clatter

Some times blooms
of daylight left
by the suns that dot
our eyes
are welcomed and
embraced by those
who choose blindness
to sight.

A moment's worth
of booming noise
made by clatter and
a voice
may wash away
our inner ear,
its needs and wants,
its choice.

Then as we're left
all deaf and dumb,
bumping into
others;
we'll raise a hand,
call out for help
just as we're pulled
under.
