Love invades my heart

leaving me spinning

in a whirlwind of emotions.

Evening songs echo my thoughts

warning me away from you,

warning me how easily I break.

Each night I wake up

calling your name.

Would you even care if you knew?

Mark the time, the days, the hours,

I miss you when you're not around.

Am I crazy for feeling this way?

All I see is a future alone

because you are so very far away.

Please don't break me.

X-Rays will show my fragile heart.

You invade my mind

at every twist and turn

Everyday I pray

to somehow find the strength

to tell you just how it is I feel.

You have captured my heart.

You have made me feel

what I swore I'd never feel.
