is that all we really had?
That one night has broken me.
It is all I ever think about,
longing for more of the same

my soul soared
like a feather floating on the wind.
To touch you --
my body melted to the floor
like ice on a sunny day.
To hear your voice --
my heart fluttered in my chest
butterflies taking wing.

My heart, my mind. my body, my soul
You hold them all within your hands.
I cannot fathom a life without you.
You are my every wish, my every prayer.
I loved you that first night,
and I never stopped.
