Is one moment in time,
all we were meant to share?
I loved you
once upon a time,
but I doubt
you ever loved me.
Could your feelings
have been the same?
I long for you to
hold me in your arms,
To kiss away my tears
and make everything all right.
I wish I knew
what life could've been
in your arms.
I never told you,
that I love you.
I let circumstances interfere.
I never told you
just how much I cared.
But now it's too late.
And a friend
is all you'll ever be.
You are gone forever.
But while you sit by,
laughing,
talking,
I still watch you
with dream-filled eyes.
And a part of me
still longs for you.
Still longs to tell you
I love you
Because you are still
in my heart.
