Nothing to Live For

This Is My Life You can't close your eyes,
You can't go to sleep.
Tried clearing your mind,
Tried counting sheep.
You keep wondering who would catch you,
If you should fall,
And why you go on living,
When you got nothing to live for at all.
Who is going to help you,
When you need a hand?
Give you a shoulder to cry on
And say they understand.
Sometimes when it hurts,
You just can't stand the pain.
Your eyes are red,
You were crying again.
There are times when you think,
You're up against everyone.
You don't believe in anything,
You don't trust in anyone.
And when I look into your eyes,
I can't help but think I look into my own.
In the darkness before the dawn,
We all feel alittle alone.
i critiqued this last year..and over the past year i have grown alot. andi read this sand it was as if it was my first time to read it. and i fell in love with it.it hits so closley to home with me.
