Limbo ( A poem by my son 10 year old)

The dark world unknown,
The feelings of despair and being alone
A little boy wonders in curiosity
Without knowing the dangers, which are yet to be.
In the world of limbo coated with trees.
Eerie things are all he sees
He searches in vain for his sibling
A giant spider above him clings
The wind howls and fiercely blows
As he saves himself from the threatening claws
Suddenly it all goes quiet and still
In the air there is a creepy chill

But there’s one missing detail…
As he tracks up and down the trail

In this dark and mystic world unknown

Author's Notes/Comments:

My son who is 10 year old wrote this poem inspired by a game he plays on his PS3. I am impressed by his effort though it is a bit dark but I thought I should share it. Would love some comments

Limbo

He has some insight we do not expect, least of all through reading his thoughts... I wonder why he wrote in the third person and not the first. Is this cultural style, or him?
