Death's Lovesong

Folder:
2004

Death is the only one

who shall kiss my cold lips

Death is the only one

who shall caress my pale skin

Death is the only one

who shall embrace my lifeless body

Death is the only one

who shall stroke my raven hair

Death is the only one

who shall whisper poems of love in my ear

I am wed to Death

I am Death's dying bride

Death is the only one

who shall make love to me

in my lonely grave.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This isn't about being in love with death. It's about dying alone and never having loved or been loved by another person so the only love is from death.
