Slayer of Angels

2005

I turn Heaven into Hell

Coldly

I've watched the angels die

Regard them

dispassionate

as they fall at my feet

But you are different

from the rest

I've never loved so intensely

When I'm through with you

you'll never dream again.

Do it

press the blade against your skin

Try to cut me out of your veins

but I'm in too deep

Do you remember the first time

your wrists met the razor?

I looked into your eyes

I looked into your soul

How did it feel then?

Is pain your paradise?

How does it feel now?

How did it feel the

many times in between?

You're my slave

forever at my mercy.

Do it

dare to make the final incisions

Six feet under

I'll have you as my bride

Celestial beauty burned to dust

Your heart pounds

I sense your fear

Blood on the knife

I'm burning with desire

Drench me in your blood

Let me lick the tears

I've made you cry

An erotic touch

Poisonous nails digging

into fragile skin

Mixing pleasure and pain

Let me kiss the scars

upon your lacerated arms

Screams of agony

Violence

Sobs of regret

Self-mutilation

Recall the scars

I made for you

both outside and within

Let me taste your blood

running from slit wrists

Do this for me

In your dying hour

a part of me dies with you

Harkening to the hypnotic

slowing of your pulse

You pull me under

We fall

powerless

Your blind struggle stops

in defeat

You surrender

in the swoon of death

In your dying hour

I hold you tight

I caress you with my breath

Listen

In your ear

the haunting whisper,

"You are mine."

At the height of passion

I savor the weight

of your broken body

against mine

locked in fatal intimacy

You've never looked so beautiful

Death's hands stoke pale flesh

Death's lips kiss self-inflicted wounds

as daylight fades away

into eternal dreamless sleep.

Lying next to the angel I've raped

this angel I've slain

I mourn for what I'd loved

My angel with black wings.
