I wish I never felt

My pain
I wish I didn't love you
I wish I weren't here
To bear this burden
Let me fly away
Fill me up with hate
This dying soul
I'll kill you
Kill the pain
Take this pain
for it is yours
Realize what it means
to be damned
Fill my emptiness
But this isn't me
This isn't what I want
What have you done
to me?
I understand why
man forgets to laugh
and learns to cry
I understand why
man forgets to love
and learns to hate
I understand
what it means
to be damned
you may be damned
but I see you saved
a metal soul right alongside me
living in sin... 'damnation'
and yet we're free
don't need a God to tell us what to do
when we have metal music and bloodlusts
to help us get through
you may be damned
but I see you saved
eyes are open to lies of Christ
the world is turned upside down
but seen in a better light
fallen I am, fallen I am
cursed in this exitence to burn
and yet I shall believe in what I can
you may be damned
but I see you saved
people may curse you for it
I say I honor your for it
Go as far as you want to have your ends met
Walk with the devil through the fire
And ignore the cries around you
As you reach your desires...
