RIGHT LOVE, WRONG TIME

you intoxicate me with

your perfume

uttered in the sweetness

of your words

I can’t deny

the magic they create

filling my soul

diamonds sparkle

through my eyes

as they connect you to

mine heart

this time I am

prepared to gamble

with fate

with traces of your lips

I drank from the cup

the cup where

I would blindly

sin.

Very thought provoking! I like this very much. I understand how this very thing could happen. So many years ago now, this could have very well been my story. I still think of him now and then. What if I had given in to the temptation? I will be married 32 years in May. Had I yeilded, I might not be able to make this statement. You brought back a few memories here. ~Lesa~
