A Lover's Philosophy

Once life’s possibilities

manifest into loves actualities,

every slate shall be cleansed

only for the truth will remain.

Forever gone are the fallacies of a future day’s heartbreak

seen through a scorned lovers eyeglass lens.

For it is not the misery

that should worry one.

Rather the surrounding intrigue,

because once you find love

everyone else discovers envy.

Lovely poem and as you know this occurs in each human as the ego is fearful and jealous to its very illusionary core. Thank God, our beloved souls are crafted from, by,or with perfect love and do not descend to such ghoulishly flawed levels of existence. Real love helps one to reign in those shallow and more negative feelings. For as you know, once a room is lit even by the tiniest candle the darkness is never completely pitch again that is unless the candle bearers choose themselves to extinguish the flame or better feed its gentle flicker to a roaring tireless glow. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed the beauty, wisdom and simplicity of your words. The depth of your flow too was near impeccable. sincerely, Melissa Lundeen.
