Rainbow Frog & Salamander Sven

Rainbow frog wasn't a salty bastard like all the other amphibians made him out to be.  When he sat up and croaked it was like music to all the other frogs, something they never let rainbow frog know.  Rainbow frog never studied martial arts but he could kick a fly from ten feet away, don't ask me how I know.  Rainbow frog ate words on fridays then only ate flys for the rest of the week, you gotta get your vitamin W you know.  Rainbow frog sat on his lilly pad wileing away the hours tempting the saltwater croc named Larry to swallow him up, but damn that rainbow frog was as quick as a jack rabbit on a date and Larry could never catch him.  One time rainbow frog jumped so high in the air it took him 15 seconds to come down again.  I personally think he just jumped into a tree sat up there for awhile, then fell back into the water.  Rainbow frog didn't care about all the other frogs swimming mindlessly and aimlessly around the water.  Until one day rainbow frog realized he had to go somewhere not exactly sure why but he knew he just had to move to some certain destination and only he would know when he was there.  So rainbow frog packed up all his rainbow frog things and headed off into the great wide open.  I asked him if I could go along, I mean who wouldn't want a black salamander who goes by the moniker of Sven as a travel companion right?  I told rainbow frog that I would keep a journal of all our adventures and misadventures and whatever else would happen to us along our journey.  Hell, he didn't know where he was going and I didn't either, and I had enough of this burned out bog.  We've seen enough of this damn place to remember it for the rest of our measly little lives.  Rainbow frog said he didn't mind me tagging along, he seemed actually glad to know that someone actually wanted to traverse this lucious and dangerous green and blue world with him.  But then again, Rainbow frog and I go way back.  Now I don't want to get into too many details, but rainbow frog and I met at the annual polka festival held here in GreenBog, held on the first weekend in July.  Boy us amphibians know how to have a great time, we love to dance and croak and drink ourselves silly.  I was watching rainbow frog cut a rug enojying my mashed larva grog when all of a sudden some big fat oafish toad slammed into me, making me spill my grog...  "Hey what's big idea?!" I yelled "You got a problem pipsqueak?" said the big fat toad smoking a cigar.  "Yeah I got a problem, your big fat warty bubble butt made me spill my drink!"  I said to him.  "Hmm would you look at that..." said the toad, as he blew a big puff of smoke in my face.  Well I was pretty angry by now, but there wasn't much I could do.  This toad was like two times the size of me and on top of all this he swiped my drink and guzzeled it all down before I had a chance to do anything.  Disappointed, I looked back over at rainbow frog who was making his way over here.  "What's the problem here?" rainbow frog asked me.  On the verge of tears, I said in a whimpery voice "that big dumb toad slammed into me and made me spill my drink, and when I confronted him all he did was laugh and blow smoke in my face, then he drank all the rest of my larva grog!" I said with trembling lips.  "Well now, let's see if we can find a solution to your problem" said rainbow frog.  I tell you this right now friend, by the end of that night I had more larva grog then I knew what to do with.  As for that big musty old toad, well he was singing falsetto for two weeks after that.  Rainbow frog and I have been good friends ever since then, but like I said I didn't want to get into to many details.  Anyways I gotta wrap this up, I gotta get some sleep cause tomorrow rainbow frogs adventure and mine starts tomorrow.  G'night journal.

Funny too for me in these

Funny too for me in these ways... First, Frog is one of my medicine guides. Secondly, I've been on a journey for quite some time with a sort of a rainbow stranger. Big strong man. Learning a lot from him. We've become bests friends. Also used to date a guy named Sven. Plus have a lot of friends who are part of the Rainbow Tribe. There were a few more things too.. So the whole story kinda aligned with my life's journey. Lol!

Well that's pretty neat

It's funny the way the world works sometimes.  I always read you and know you've been traveling hither and yon.  I certainly do hope you stay safe and make the right decisions when the time arises, whatever they may be.  Smile

It is indeed funny how it

It is indeed funny how it works. Sychronicity? Serendipity? One of those. Nice to hear you read me. :) I am staying safe. Plan on continuing to be. Have made many new artist and poet friends down in the Quarter. Amazing people I've met. I'm finding awake or awakening people everywhere. People who are interested in and working on growing... and honoring their hearts. It's funny how people attract like minded people. Though there are definitely a large chunk of folks who are clearly in a different headspace. You know, the Zombies. They are still everywhere too. My point is however, I find that I gravitate towards the ones who are awake and befriend them. The rest I may converse with for a moment or two. But I shy clear of people I sense to be threatening. Many people looking out for me. Thanks for the concern and conversation...
