Why it hurts (Can't help but love)

An empath I might be.

Feeling is all I know.

Negative vibes surround.

Lighting candles in windy hearts.

Siphoning my energy.

I don't want to speak the truth.

Cause it hurts, very much.

Thats why I sing.

Singing helps tune out the bad.

Creates a force field.

They will hate you,

if your more real than real.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Now more than ever do I feel I need to guard my heart, the liars and decievers have reared their ugly souls at me.  Blinded by beauty, that is only skin deep.  Ugh.  Lord, give me strength to forgive those who trespass against me.  I don't want to shut down.  These vibrations are going to be hell.  Someone tell me its going to be alright please?

I understand your emotion and thoughts.

Loved your poem.  Of course it's going to be alright, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

Don't go off of your feelings, cause they are ever changing.  That's what I have learned.

It's always harder at night but better in the morning.

Time works itself out.

Just hang on and keep writing poetry.

It is a beautiful outlet for all those who feel deeply.

I appreciate your honest emotion in your writings.

You have inspired me to know that we are not alone!

Thank you!

Would love to tell you it's

Would love to tell you it's gonna be alright but I'm still trying to convince myself. Shut down over here is a leaky faucet.

All I Got On That

is it comes down to choices. Make better ones. Barrier shut you in too. Character is built on strife and battling hellfire. Sometimes what you feel takes a backseat to what you decide to do. This from someone who is basically reclusive - all my friends are dead or have gone insane. - time to chose to make new friends. Mantra mine: No one can make me feel other than i want to feel! - Be well. slc

I supose that is true

I've got a big problem of helping people out, then expecting the same from them.  But, it seems I'm going to have to lower my standards.

Raise Your Expectations

by telling those you help to pass it on. I helped you, you help somebody else when you can. No standard adjustment needed. I do it all the time. When someone does something nice for me, I go into shock. :D Keep on keepin' on evrie day! - Stella

I agree with Stella. If we

I agree with Stella.

If we give to someone, it's best not to have expectations that the person will do the same for you. But it is certain that, someway or another, the Universe will find some other way to return the gift.

Pay it forward... always good policy.
