Star Trek - The Original Series
In the vast expanse of a starry sea,
Where dreams are woven with cosmic glee,
There lies a tale of bold decree,
A saga named Star Trek, wild and free.
Upon the deck of the majestic Enterprise,
A crew with vision, clear and wise,
Sails through nebulae and endless skies,
Their mission noble, hearts that rise.
Kirk, the captain, brave and bold,
With Spock, whose logic's manifold,
Bones, with healing touch untold,
And Scotty's magic in engines' hold.
Each episode, we find, a world anew,
Where foes and friends come into view,
Exploring realms, both false and true,
A quest for peace in all they do.
Phasers set, yet minds at ease,
They seek to bring the stars to peace,
To boldly go, they never cease,
Their legacy shall be released.
A tapestry of hopes and dreams,
Of alien suns and moonlit beams,
Where unity through difference gleams,
In Star Trek's light, our future teems.
So let us journey, side by side,
Through galaxies where wonders bide,
With courage, love, and truth as guide,
In Star Trek's dream, our hearts confide.

Gene Roddenberry is widely acknowledged as the creator of the iconic science fiction series, Star Trek. This is my tribute to his vision.
During my junion and senior
During my junion and senior years in high school, decades ago, the Original Series was broadcasts on weeknights by an indepenent and unaffiliated television station in Cincinnati. Despite static interference and a poor picture, I tried to watch every episode.
Perhaps your notes should acknowledge Ruddenberry as the creater of the series of which you have written so eloquently.
