She looked so pretty and graceful
Shyly exposing her emotions,
Gowned in her lovely beaded white dress,
Expressing their life-long devotion.
Her fair hair framed a radiant face;
Vulnerability and love beamed.
The simple vows, honestly expressed
Were touchingly sincere, as love deemed.
The ruby-red roses that she wore
Were a symbol of love from back home -
Tokens of her family's caring-
Grown to beauty in good garden loam.
She was the fairest bloom from that soil,
Far outshining the roses splendour
And her husband knew the prize he had;
His look was proud, loving and tender.
She looked so pretty and graceful
Shyly exposing her emotions,
Gowned in her lovely beaded white dress,
Expressing their life long devotion.
If love is the blossom of heart,then mariage is the offering of these flowers,As an exchange of two hearts.As a symbol of devotion,to themselves and others,As an ocassion to show gratitiude,for the life we have.Bringing all together in love.
How gracefully u had sketched this in your work.Liked it a lot.
Remembering Shakespeare's lines----"From fairest creatures,we desire increase,
That there-by beauty's rose might never die"
Let it be so.
Good luck to Shawn and Sheryl.
The Fairest Bloom
Thank you so much. Glorious comment. Poetry, itself.
