Buds Of Hope

Buds of hope

stretch their necks,

exposing their soft throats

to possible danger.

Slowly the petals

unfurl to the warmth,

cautiously trusting

then most joyously

abandoning fears.

Yes, oh yes!

There is hope for love.

How could anyone disagree with such a profound Statement? The presence of love ensures that it is always eternal Spring time for the blossoming of our every adventure in the relationships we spend so much time pursuing, planning, plotting, and praying over. Why should we be afraid? Everything takes time, and time is, from beginning to end, the only thing we have. Why not enjoy it?

Fleur, something about your poems makes me ramble. I love to read and visit your page. (Almost had to address the, “Another Long Apple Tree Year” again). I will find time to spend more time with your writes next time.
