Patricia's comment led me here; and I applaud this brief, but very profound, poem.  Like the finest of the ancient epigrammatists, and like J. V. Cunningham in our time, you say a whole lot in just a few words and lines, and that is always a sign of classic talent.

What brilliant symbolism! A profound mini parable that gives us much life wisdom to grow by. The takeaway for me: In the simple, unpretentious and even "flawed" vessel (animate or inanimate) there flows the greatest light. So beautiful.
