One day caught out in the rain
I saw an image of you
Slowly crawling away
I chased down my dream
And lost myself on the path
Only to find
True love never lasts
I thought this was true
I knew it was real
The love I held inside
What you couldn't feel
Then I found myself again
Losing myself in the rain

I will never find
Myself until I know
You are mine
Until the day I can be yours again

I was standing in the rain
With a vision of you
Caught up in the pain
Of losing you
Then you came to me
And told me how much it hurt
Losing all we had
Until now I couldn't see
How much of me got hurt
Losing sight of that
