There's no escaping
The inevitability
Of this daily reality

There's no evading
The eventuality
Of this same old routine

Life follows lines and paths
Directing futures from its past
The certainty that life can lack
And explorations to unmask

Life leads you on your way
Relative means, necessary change
Breaking away from the same old same
Guiding you to your final resting place

Life is just a bigger picture of scenes
A collection of moments in time
Collaged together making memories
Thoughts and images in the mind

There is no escaping
Life
There is no evading
Time
The inevitability of eventuality
This statement dictates
Things happen how they happen and there is no other way
Every moment that happens cannot be erased
No amnesiac's dream to let go of mistakes

Regrets don't form without your attention
Mistakes don't occur without your intentions
Though some things in life need not be mentioned
Those moments and everything in them
Created the character of your ascension

We cannot better ourselves without lessons we've learned
We cannot move forward without the life we have earned
Because even in the aftermath of all the bridges burned
The map of this life formed from its twists and turns

There is no escaping
This life
There is no need
To try
Reality claims even the strongest minds
But nothing can stand in the way of being alive
And nothing can take away the dreams in the sky
