The tired side of me
That has no time to sleep
I try to wake but my eyes won’t open
The is no sleep for me
My bed is empty
I feel so weak and just can’t stand it

I’m working overtime
In my job, and in my life
I can’t awake and I can’t control it
Hiding inside my head
On the street not in the bed
Why won’t somebody come and cure me from this
Wake me up

I need insomnia
I gotta wake back up
I must confess that I feel like a Monster

I cannot fall asleep
To drift into my dreams
I must confess that I feel like a Monster

I, I would like a Monster
I, I would like a Monster

And when it’s time to sleep
There is no time for me
I tried to wake but my eyes won’t open
Cause if I just pass out
I’ll screw it up, let me down
Why won’t somebody come and cure me from this
