Conundrum

My Job Inspires Me It's almost preposterous, this choice that lies on me
My haven awaits the companies negotiating
And the chance will lay before me to leave
But a new opportunity has become seen
A promotion in the ranks
That will require me to stay
But the move will stifle my paygrade
So the conundrum lies in which choice to make
Here is a place from which I meant to escape
But the opportunity may not let me get away
A conundrum is presented
But I know not the answer to it
And I wonder if it's just fated
For me to not escape it
