I was crazy back before it was cool
Built on the madness in my mind
I was hopeless before I was a fool
It's just the way I live my life

It's not simple
No, it's extensive
I'm not crazy

I was in love before I met you
It was something about the way you cried
And I was hooked before I ever knew
The light that shines in your eyes at night

It's not so vague
No, it’s intrinsic

And through all of my eccentricities
I find that I'm the one behind the disease
I'm the one, in whom I have to believe
Regardless of the way life goes for me
