Internet Being Real
I hear about kids meetin off the internet
Why meet a complete stranger?
Now its the day after you met
Your life was hit with this sudden anger
With this sudden hate
Why put yourself in danger?
I hear about sudden fate
But now your six feet under
you got to take care of yourself out there
Livin life like that is nothing but a shattered nightmare
Just think of your loved ones and you’ll be OK
Life can strike you worse than it did yesterday
Just think and use your brain
And your mind and thoughts will be there again
Just think and always keep to a steady pace
Don’t be silly and end up at his or hers place
Funerals are all we got to look forward to these days
Just more murderers and dead children going up in a blaze
Just read this once and you’ll understand
We’re all living depressing lives without being in demand
Once you get older you realise your out there on your own
I’m praying for kids to not do this and get out this 1 way zone.
Great Advice. I am concerned with the whole "My Space (ect) Generation" Innocent kids can be convinced of alot, with a little attention. My two young teen neices were booted off by their mothers after i let her know of their accounts, they dont love me for it..but someday they might understand. I wonder how to best get a message like this to kids (and unknowing parents)? Well its something to ponder anyway. Thanks great job. ~Rae
this poem is so true. Its also the same with where I live I live in a very small town and theres 45 sex offenders that live here and everyday I see lil girls around there houses its really sad.
You words are true oh wise one, Its GOD DAMN POINTLESS, meeting some fool off the net, what the hell is wrong with these kids nowadays? Anyway lets hope the whole world reads your poem....
