Dearest,

The days have been long and hard without you.
I write to let you know this because you never would if I didn’t.
Though your thoughts are everywhere but on me,
mine are ever tangled with you.
The wonders of the world are all taken in comparison
to your beauty, smile, and laugh
But wants aren’t always attainable,
So a letter to those who weren’t.
