Is't the weight of years I feel, or of time gone by,

Or is it time at all I bear, or do I bear at all?



My eyes seek sights, my ears a sound

My senses search so constantly. Listen for a call



Can you feel? Do you hear? Will you breathe a sigh?

Wear a pretty dress for me. Brace me for a fall.



Kiss me. Tell me I'm okay and listen when I call.



Saddle up for distant shores but leave your heart at home

Kis me. Kill me. Give me love or I shall surely fall.



If there is ought that you should need, pray, ask and it be yours

I will give you what I can, e'en though it be not all



I know love when 'tis seen though my mind be crazed

With thoughts that cross like hungry rats, but love o'erpowers it all



Come, love, touch me now. Sear my soul and lips

If choice again, love, must be made I'll choose again to fall



My tears still fall. My heart has pain I know your every need

I overflow with love for you. I burst at every seam



Come inside my heart, my love and reside therein for good

Bloom inside me, blossom, grow, full rose from just a bud
