CHIX DIG BIG...TRRRRUCKS

Dads 51 Chevy aqua truck was parked in the barn

We’d climb in & “floor it to Texas” without leavin’ the farm

Chicken’s cluckin’ dawgs barkin’ my duck drivin’ on my lap

90 miles,90 miles an hour even tho those tires were flat

pre-chorus

Dad would wake up from his nap, half ass grin on his face

He’d yell “Girls knock it off” then we’d just laugh n say

“we can’t help it” "it's not our fault"

Chorus-hook-(not finished)

CHIX DIG BIG...TRRRRUCKS

Family trips were lots of fun till we were ½ way thru

“Are we there yet” “I’m so bored” “there’s never nothin’ to do"

Mom would turn the CB on we’d pick up truckers names

We’d make a sign sayin’ hi, they’d honk we’d laugh and wave

Pre-chorus

Dad would wake up from his nap, half ass grin on his face

He’d yell “Girls knock it off” then we’d just laugh n say

“we can’t help it” "it's not our fault"

Chorus-hook-(not finished)

CHIX DIG BIG...TRRRRUCKS

Author's Notes/Comments:

this is a w.i.p. I first got the hook while driving around in Tenn. my kid sister's Birthday is comin' up and I wanted to write her a poem/song to stir up some good ol' child hood memories.

Well sounds like its gettin off to a purty good start. Thats really sweet to write a song for somebody. Its alot more special than getting a gift from wal mart or something and its remebered alot longer. :)
