Tragedy of me

I see you every morning
Come sunshine or rain your expressions always worry me as you always seem in pain
Sometimes you are angry frowning or just sad

I rarely see a smile from you

But it is the same for me too.

Sometimes you bring me comfort, but mostly grief and pain

I try to turn and hide form you, but there is just no way.

No matter where I run to you are always there.

I turned to face you one last time and I see only me.

This is not to say you are to fault, but rather that somewhere in you must be the key to step out of this tragedy into a story you more desire. Keep searching for it. Writing, I am convinced, means you are searching. All the best.

The Tragedy Of Me

Not to run from, occasionally to find. At 71, I can say I did good mosta ma days, helped quite a lot of folks over the decades. Made living better for friends and family. Great for the grandson. Mr. Notre Dame sophmore.

.

I run campaigns and plan to follow my own advice and get up and do something! Novel 7 can wait a summer. :D

The last line brings the poem

The last line brings the poem to a quite unexpected conclusion; a very powerful way to conclude it.

For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. Normal means lack of imagination,
