Daffodils and roses bloom eternal
in a verdant garden,
pressed between dog-eared pages
of this anthology called heart.
Wisteria clothes otherwise barren walls
in beauty of remembered moments,
lush with emotions
captured in technicolor landscapes
of our journey.
A flowing stream,
adorned with snow white lilies,
tinkles sweet melodic sentiment,
as intoxicated by jasmine dreams,
I bathe in the perfumed waters
of yesterday.
In this paradise,
every blossom breathes,
vibrant in glorious splendor;
Each petal kissed one by one
by love's lips,
cultivated and watered
by dewy mists of nostalgia
As time shall pass inevitably
and the winds of change blow cold,
you will find me strolling
in this topiary Eden,
breathing deeply
of their everlasting fragrance.
It is here, I shall bask,
in the warmth of forever's sunshine,
insulated against the frosty winter seasons
of missing you.
I love your use of metaphors here...
