Its time to start a new beginning,

This mourning shall not consume my life,

Love comes and goes with the wind,

I will follow its lead,

Every waking hour I shall remember,

And every moment I will know,

Deep inside I love you unrelenting,

And I always will

As the waves crash upon the shore,

I will find a peace within me,

Lessening the pain endured,

I must carry on,

The burden of my own ways,

A shadow upon my brow,

Its me that causes my own pain,

not any more,

Only healing will suffice,

though a slow and tedious road,

I can handle anything now,

Even if alone.
