Sometimes it is not as we want
it to be, is it?
Her eyes ignite the fire and in
you and your lips bring her the
release that she has been longing
for in her restless dreams.
Seeing the same scene of the crime
over and over in perpetuity wreaks
havoc on a tender heart so scarred.
How harsh the lives of damaged souls
are when they find no peace within.
Roaming the Earth like spirits of
those gone without justice's temper.
How sorrowful and sad to live each
day as one who sees no hope upon an
ever-diminishing horizon. What pain
and despair they must endure daily.
I see them walking with false smiles
and the longing looks of one who has
hope but no faith, life but no spark.
How I wish I could love them and heal
their pain. But to do so is to be
taken into the emotional darkness of
a despair that threatens no return.
As I kneel to the great "I AM" each
night, I pray for them so their hearts
may receive the light of the world and
see the lie that internal darkness is.
I seek for them the peace that they don't
seem to be able to grasp for themselves,
but would do everything to acquire so
truthfully, lovingly, and sincerely.
Hoping upon hope that the next foray into
love will be the means to transport them
to their peaceful oasis of the heart that
might sustain them for the remainder of time.
Never concede and never give in to the
sorrow and pain. Seek to love first from
within so the heart will always know the
sum of your value as others may see it too.
Your peace exists. Find it and you will
transcend that realm, your heart healed,
your soul unbroken.
Once again an exceptionally beautiful expression...that so touches the heart and ignites the soul. I have never before met a man with such a profound ability to share in thought and words the divinely given gift that GOD has blessed him with. Oh to be touched by the hand of GOD.....with such a gift as you have Joe. Once again you have deeply humbled me......GOD bless and keep you always!!
