In the end the prayers were answered
and my life has not been the same
(although we know that was the plan
in the first place).
You see the prayers went up for me long
before I began to seek my independence.
And the journey was long and arduous and
informative and painful and joyous.
It has been the perfect mirror of life
as the creator intended...a microcosm.
I've been around the world in more than
the 80 days of P. Fog.
I've seen the Northern Lights and the
six month nights.
I've seen the heather on the glenn and
heard the piper's lament.
I've watched the setting Sun on an island
paradise and seen the ocean's force.
I've been to the land of Queens and future
kings and witnessed their favor in the people.
I've seen where the Colosus once stood and
the beauty of God's hand in the Mediteranean.
I've walked where MY forefathers walked
before our nation was a nation.
I've seen the Pyramids and the valley of the
kings where the Sphinx stands guard.
I've lived in the land of the Rising Sun
and the in the home of Hwarang Warriors.
I've been to the land down under and where
the fjords are vast and beautiful.
I've spoken in the language of the Romans and
lounged in the Palma sand with Mallorcan pearls.
I've seen that purple mountain majesty and
amber waves of grain from sea to shining sea.
I've marveled at the diversity of man
all over the world and am better for it.
I stand at the threshold of where my destiny
will truly be borne out (and prophetically so).
Therefore, ALL that I have SEEN and DONE and AM
is purposed to bring us all closer to the creator.
For we exist because of the sacrifice of One and
the prayers of many before us. Each of us traveling
a road he has ordained for us and we are assigned
our destiny to his purpose.
Honor that sacrifice by finding that purpose.
SEE those prayers fulfilled.
Amazing!
