A day spent in a world
of loneliness.
Tears of a Lark drop and mingle
with the flowing stream below.
While clouds above await --
their turn.
Life in the stream scurry for shelter.
Blinded by the turbulence--
not all succeed.
Suddenly, clouds fade, make way for
warmth and shine of the sun.
Rays twinkle and dance upon
the stream inviting life out from
their hiding places.
The Lark, now joined by her mate,
together...
A new life is born.
The Gaia theory in a poem
I thought I had already commented on this beautiful poem but it isn't here. I love the smooth way it reads. Wonderful!!!
oh, this brought to mind a lovely summer rain when life seems to thrive with blissful glee...
I also loved the use of the word "Lark" that one tickles my poetic soul.....
Always,
Amberlee
You write with clear image and pleasant flow, thank-you for allowing me to find you here. Nice Work! Richard.E.
Beautiful. Your imagery created with the stroke of your quill remided me of the melodious tunes from Enya.
Linda, This is beautiful. It makes me realize that all things can feel a lonliness but at the end...there is peace and the lonliness will disappear. God bless you my friend. Love, Angel Eve
