Every time I look in your eyes

To take in the scenary

Right before you blink

I have to pause for an extra second



Every time your lids open

It's like a beautiful world was just born

A beautiful sparkling water world

I have to pause for an extra second



When you smile your eyes light up

They shrink in size and grow in beauty

My heart if filled with joy for you

I have to pause for an extra second



Every time you look at me

and bat those cute eyelashes

I lost my breath from your beauty

and I pause for an extra second



As I lay here thinking of you

I recreate those wonderful eyes

They are so vivid and clear

let me pause for just a second



I love those sparkling blue eyes

and the occasional light green eyes

the change is so amazing

so I pause for just a second



As I lay with you in bed

and your eyes are closed to me

I anticipate the next time

that I will pause for just one more second
