I was told that as a child!
It was said in a negative sense
But, it can be said in a positive one too
I now found that out!
I have a clear concept of
what it means since I met you!
It takes one to know one!
It is so real because you don't know
the joy I feel when you tell me that I have
a sweet spirit.
It takes one to know one!
I see that reflection in you-
You're sweetness, kindness, sincerity and caring
in its purest form!
It takes one to know one!
for sure these qualities you do
possess cause you bring so much happiness!
To everyone you meet, that is why I say you're
a sweet spirit that reflects laughter and joy!
It takes one to know one!
Yes that is so true - that is why I will continually
to grow in friendship and love with you!
You're the first person i've come accross on poetry.com i can say that has inspired me.
I've read many poems here and they are all good in their own ways, they all have a special, meaningfull message.
However your work i am drawn to on any given day.
Keep up the good work! :)
