bad things in the past?
Will they trust me when
I say I would never do
anything to hurt you,
no matter what?
Does it help to say that
I am a changed man,
I will do no wrong as long
as it will help me be with you.
Can I redeem myself
by telling the truth?
By saying that I love
you more than life itself?
Well, this poem is old but it was on the front page and I clicked it.. and I don't know if you still read your comments, but this was really good. Definitely get what you're going through. It's a good poem, and if you do read this you should write more.
People can change but opinions are often so set in stone that they may not. Work for their approval the same you worked to change and it should all work out.
