* Fragile Beauty *

                   snow is falling large

                   quiet flakes from a

                   heavily clouded sky ...

                  i catch a flake on mittened

                  hand,and hold it near my eye

                 the love of god so clearly

                 seen, in intricate design!

                 i wish that i could hold it

                 close, and somehow make it

                         mine .

                but soon it melts , and it is

               gone and i wish that i could see

               gods face as i look up and say

                thanks for your gift to me .

I'm not sure who Denise A. Dewald is, but I do like this poem. It shows how beauty is tender, loving, delicate.
