It's so nice to wake up
with a smile upon my face
Ear to ear with no fear
that someday it will erase

She told me forever
She said that as long
as I give her my heart
That it would be her endeavor
To keep going down the path we chart

She'd love me forever
And you know that's something
I'd like to do
And when the world says never
That's when I get the answer from you
"I'll love you forever"

It's so nice walking around
with Teresa by my side
Hand in hand with no chance
that this feeling will subside

She told me forever
She said as long
as I kept hold of her hand
It would be her endeavor
To keep inspiring me to do all I can

She'd love me forever
And you know that's something
I can applaud
And when the world says never
That's when I get this answer from God
"She loves you forever"
