Falls Apart

Folder:
June 2002 Poetry

Her smile,

is wearing thin.

She’s sick of pretending,

sick of all the lies and pain,

she hides inside.

No one listens,

no one understands her,

so she falls apart.

Piece by piece,

and no one notices,

no one is there,

to help pick up the pieces.

She tries to do it alone,

but she can’t,

so she falls apart.
